There’s a little-known holiday in the middle of January that folks celebrate by blowing the rent, buying a pack of cigarettes or digging deep into a package of fudge-covered Oreos. Sounds fun, right? It’s Ditch Your New Year’s Resolutions Day, on January 17, which celebrates the nearly 30 percent of people who are unable (or unwilling) to make their resolutions stick for more than a fortnight.
