Favorite places to shop: “I like Misch boutique in South Granville, because they offer a unique aesthetic and fantastic designers that can be difficult to find here, like Rag & Bone.”

On the local style: “A lot of people in Vancouver have a very practical style that can seem uninspired, but you’ll also see people who are more experimental and who make a genuine attempt to do something distinctive. I think Vancouver’s overall aesthetic is developing and getting better as the city itself evolves.”

Must-have item for Vancouver: “My Yoshi Kondo waxed cotton cape, because it keeps me dry. Plus, it’s black.”
