What to Wear: Rio de Janeiro

Bold, breezy skirts that go with the flow in Rio

MARINA RIBAS
Graphic designer

WHAT SHE’S WEARING:
Silk dress* from Farm, top by My Filosophy, Zara sandals, silver rings bought from a beach vendor

PERSONAL STYLE:
“I mix my life experiences into my wardrobe. I like many different references: tribal, romantic, Zen, rock, retro, hippie, chic. I love wearing ‘mined’ clothes, things inherited from my mother or garments made by my friends. I like the sense of reuse, find again, merge, customize a different outfit. I love the mix! I am Brazilian!”

I have been looking everywhere for a website with the “silk dress from Farm” but it is nowhere to be found. Can you steer me in the right direction?

Hi, Marilee—Farm is a great Brazilian clothing line that you can find online at http://www.farmrio.com.br, though you may need to track down someone who can speak Portuguese to help navigate it. (Or just pack your bags for Rio, and shop the stores there!)
